Kept In The Dark

“We can’t beat an enemy we don’t understand. The more we know about their motivations, tactics, and training and experience the better we can predict what they’ll do in situations. If they’ve been successful, we need to know why and how and with what. More important than that we need to understand why they’re not successful. What factors drove them to make decisions causing them to be unsuccessful. It’s called strategic understanding and tactical soldiering” (Whiskey Tango Charlie; Lynne Black; pg. 97, ebook).

It has come as a surprise for many the way the United States has become. The freedoms that previous generations enjoyed without any thought of persecution or prosecution, are now “on the ropes” in the fight for liberty.

American citizens are challenging the Constitution. Freedom of speech is now “hate” speech. Freedom of religion is now “racism.” The American way of life is considered racist. Whites are more evil than anyone else, with everyone else being victims to white culture.

How did it get this way? And seemingly so quickly?

In actuality, it’s been building for over one hundred years. But very slowly.

“In June, 1957, Nikita Khrushchev, Soviet Communist Party boss, was interviewed before a nation-wide American television audience. With calm assurance he stated: … I can prophesy that your grandchildren in America will live under socialism. And please do not be afraid of that. Your grandchildren will . . . not understand how their grandparents did not understand the progressive nature of a socialist society” ( Masters of Deceit, pg. 10; J. Edgar Hoover).

The influence of socialist ideology cannot be underestimated. Frankly, their dedication and scheming could be lauded if it wasn’t so evil. The movement was so benign in some ways that most Americans still don’t know what has happened. In reality, the evidence was there all the time if one knew what to look for. But even what to look for was kept in the dark, and those that were raising the alarm were ostracized and called “conspiracy theorists.” Fact didn’t matter and the media made sure facts didn’t get in the way of the movement.

By treacherous politicians, biased media, and deceitful education, a whole nation has been kept in the dark, and has been brought down to it’s knees. The world is following.

Our lack of self-education and reliance on others to do our thinking for us has kept us blind to the scheming of our enemies. They have out maneuvered us. They have exploited our weaknesses. To this day, the majority still don’t see the danger that is to come. The book of Proverbs says:

(ESV) “ ‘How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple?
How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing
and fools hate knowledge?
If you turn at my reproof,
behold, I will pour out my spirit to you;
I will make my words known to you.
Because I have called and you refused to listen,
have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,
because you have ignored all my counsel
and would have none of my reproof,
I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when terror strikes you,
when terror strikes you like a storm
and your calamity comes like a whirlwind,
when distress and anguish come upon you.
Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer;
they will seek me diligently but will not find me.
Because they hated knowledge
and did not choose the fear of the LORD,
would have none of my counsel
and despised all my reproof,
therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way,
and have their fill of their own devices.
For the simple are killed by their turning away,
and the complacency of fools destroys them;
but whoever listens to me will dwell secure
and will be at ease, without dread of disaster’ ” (Proverbs 1:22–33).
