We are seeing a push to dehumanize and alienate the Christian community within western societies. In particular those Christians that want to live a Bible based life; those who won’t call evil good, or wrong right. The push is to dismantle personal integrity and force everyone to become demonically brainwashed.
The catch phrase is “Christian Nationalist.” This phrase is the same propaganda ploy that the Nazis used about Zionism. It will have the same effect towards Christians as was toward the Jews in Nazi Germany. People will begin to equate Christianity with antisocial behavior; that is unless you prove otherwise by publicly denouncing anything to do with an uncompromising Bible position.
It won’t be enough to say “live and let live”, or “we love the sinner but hate the sin”, or some other attempt to assuage the hatred and anger of those who are determined to rid the earth of anything to do with the God of the Bible. You’ll have to be all in with them or suffer their wrath. There is no compromise.
Christians will be portrayed as unloving, unforgiving, antisocial, anti diversity, against democracy, against human rights, and racist. Character assassination is the name of game.
Many will turn from the faith and believe these lies. They will begin to persecute and betray other Christians, even believing what they are doing is justifiable. None of us want to be portrayed as bigoted unloving people, to be acquainted with such a group, or to be persecuted for being a part of such a group. The fear of appearing bigoted and antisocial will be why some will turn from the faith and begin to persecute fellow believers.
Beware of persecuting other Christians. Jesus said it plainly:
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions. But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:45–51, EVS, emphasis mine).
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:9–13, NKJV, emphasis mine).
There are many other warnings throughout the New Testament. More than I have time to share here. And you should research this for yourself.
The important thing I want to get across is to be cautious. Be alert. Don’t side with those that want to persecute other believers. If another is wrong in their view, in our opinion, be slow to wrath, be slow to judge, and be quick to pray and forgive. Don’t get trapped. We don’t have to agree with someone, but we do need to walk in love. Judgement day settles all accounts. We need to be sure we’re on the right side after the judgement.
Propaganda always seems like the truth, but there’s only enough “truth” to make the deception seem legitimate. That’s the danger of slander.
Obey the Word regardless of what the propaganda says.
Stay Vigilant and Prepared.
