In this lesson, I want to go over some scientific difficulties the evolutionist community would prefer the world not know.
Evolution is one of the greatest hoaxes believed. True science continually shuts down any valid arguments. It’s vital that the Christian understand, when discussing evolution with someone, the difference between faith and science. Recognizing the difference lets the Believer point out when the evolutionist switches from scientific evidence to faith. Logic is not scientific evidence. A theory is not scientific evidence. Real science can be observed and replicated in a laboratory setting. Until something can be observed and replicated in a laboratory setting, it’s either theory or faith. A person jumps from theory to faith when he or she refuses to acknowledge scientific research and continues to believe something science disproves or can’t prove. At this point, the theory becomes a religion.
“Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, ‘What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.’
They deliberately forget that God made the heavens long ago by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed” (2 Peter 3:3–7).
Noah’s flood explains so much and the science points to a cataclysmic worldwide flood.
Here are for conundrums that we don’t learn about in school.
The Big Bang
Evolutionists have to believe in the Big Bang and its ability to form the universe, the stars, and ultimately life. In the scientific community itself, there is becoming more denunciation of the idea. The Big Bang relies on things we’ve never observed and cannot replicate in a laboratory. Nor can these speculations survive without presumptions. Real science relies on observation and the ability to repeat it. Think about this. Big Bang believers have to justify human development from us back to apes, fish, worms, pond scum, rocks, hydrogen gas, a great explosion, and finally to inflation, dark matter and dark energy. None of which can be scientific replicated or proven. This isn’t science. This is faith. Yet, these presumptions are fundamental to the evolutionist community. Robert Hazing sums it up, “Rocks and minerals must have played a pivotal role in the transition from the blasted, prebiotic earth to the living world we now inhabit” (Genesis: Rocks, Minerals, and the Geochemical Origin of Life; Elements Magazine volume 1, June 2005, page 143). Really? Life came from rocks? Where’s the science in that teaching. That’s faith!
The prophet Jeremiah said about backslidden Israel’s idolatry, “Saying to a tree, ‘You are my father,’ And to a stone, ‘You gave birth to me.’ For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face. But in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise and save us.’ But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble.” If evolution isn’t paganism, what is? The worship of the creation is evolution: “evolution created all this” is the belief.
Sorrowfully, many Christians fall prey to evolutionist dogma, being weak in their faith and not being able to rebut their stories with real science. Paul warned, “O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith” (1 Timothy 6:20–21, KJV). This is a dangerous position for the Christian, especially in light of Jesus’ warning, “And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many” (Matthew 24:4–5).
Gravitational Star Formation
Evolutionists believe the stars formed by gravitational attraction of space gas particles. Science refutes this: “The known laws of physics and chemistry say that the more gravity tries to squeeze gas particles together, the more heat will be generated. This extra heat causes expansion of the particles outward, not inward…and the outward force is much stronger than any attraction force” (Science News, 3/11/06, pg. 154–156, emphasis mine).
A good example of this is a diesel engine. Diesels compress gases to create heat, which in turn causes the gases to heat up and then expand at a rapid rate; in other words, and explosion. The outward expansion of particles can be 400 times greater. The attraction force of gravity pulling space particles together would cause, not a formation of planets, etc., but would heat to the place of more explosions.
What about star formation? Astronomers estimate there are 100 billion galaxies. They estimated 200 billion stars per galaxy. They also claim the universe is 20 billion years old. Essentially what this means is 31,746 stars per second would have to be formed for 20 billion years. This is the point, we have seen stars die, but we have never seen them form. After 20 Billion years 31,000 stars per second suddenly stopped forming? Not to mention life on this planet. One has great faith to preach that sermon. Why would someone be willing to believe everything suddenly stopped evolving.
“He [God] made the stars also” (Genesis 1:16, NKJV) is easier to believe.
Language
If man evolved from less intelligent creatures, we would expect the earliest languages to be the least complex. Yet, the exact opposite is true.
Instead of evolving, language is devolving. Earlier languages are much more complex in verb usage and syntax. For example, ancient Greek and Chinese are much more complex than their modern counterparts. Ancient Sanskrit goes back to 1500 BC. Each verb had up to 500 variations!
As a fun note, the Chinese characters for large boat are boat + 8 people. Sounds like Noah’s ark to me.
Design
We find design in everything and everywhere. The earth has just the right amount of gravity. The sun is just the right distance from the earth for there to be life. We have liquid water, Van Allen radiation belts and an ozone layer to protect us. There’s also irreducibly complex life (life that can’t evolve piecemeal) such as the Bombardier Beetle or even a simple cell. There’s so much more. Everything has a design. The point is: If there’s a design, then there’s a designer.
Big explosions don’t create orderly design.
Of course, there are many macro and micro sciences that continue to blacken the evolutionary belief.
This blog isn’t meant as an insult to anyone. I’ve known many good people who believe in evolution, and we’ve never had issues with one another. But in our society today, there is a growing hostility and marginalization toward people who have faith in God; especially toward the Christian/Judaeo faiths. These folks never realize (or perhaps they just don’t care) that they have faith in the universe being it’s own creator.
Eternity is at stake. It’s best to be brutally self honest.
Stay strong and prepared!
