We sang a song at church the other morning, and in it was a line that said that that God stands against the giants for us. Of course, the first thing that I thought about was David and Goliath. Then it occurred to me that God stands against the giants through us.
Search the scriptures, and what do we see? God working through people. He has determined to work with humanity. We can clearly see this when He created Adam and Eve. They were under shepherds. This same theme runs throughout the Bible until the end. In the Book of Revelation it says, “For the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever” (Revelation 22:5).
Adverse things happen in this age, and we have to deal with them. God wants to help. God also want us to help Him; to cooperate with Him.
God wants to stand against the giants through us!
